The Proper Care & Feeding of the Female: The Rose
THE PROPER
CARE AND FEEDING OF THE FEMALE: THE ROSE
When you buy or
pick a rose you don't want it to die. So you grab your best vase or you buy one
to make sure it has a place to rest and thrive. Then you pour water in the vase
and add some fresh good food to the water so the rose lasts for a while. You don't
want it to die too soon or at all so you find a nice perfect spot in the sun so
it can bathe and take in the rays and feel important. You don't want the petals
to fall so you watch it carefully and make sure the petals stay intact. You might even take in its sweet aroma from
time to time just to feel great about having it there. But you also have to
walk away from it. You have to let the rose go so you can get on with your life
and mind your own business. If you stare at it too long then everything else
disappears and you might get upset that this is all you have to look at. If the
petals start falling off you might get nervous because you know it could be
dying and you don't want that. If you obsess over the rose you will lose it.
You might even feed it too much or not at all in the hopes that you can keep it
right there and it will just stay that way. But roses like females change. They
are fragile, their petals fall off, kind of like a heart breaking, or a layer
being peeled depending on how you treat it. It's ok for the petals to fall
sometimes because you can place them in a book and preserve them, like your
heart, or you can use them to woo, wine and dine your sweetie, females love
that. Bottom line is gentlemen, you have to treat all females you encounter
(mother, daughter, grandmother, neice, friend, girlfriend, wife, aunt, boss,
co-worker, and even pet) like a rose. That is she is sweet, gentle, kind,
caring, nurturing, loving, patient, modest, a lover of God and living in
service to God, understanding, encouraging and patient enough to wait for you
to pick her and always beautiful (let her know). We need to be approached
gently with care and concern and lots of attention. If you leave a rose sitting
in its vase catching too many rays and you never talk to it, or tell it how
beautiful it is, or take in its aroma and connect with it, or you never feed
it, it will start to wither away, it will die quickly, like so many
relationships that are neglected. If you are aggressive (like with sexual
assault), too distant, too emotional, too unemotional, too silent, too
disrespectful (like calling it the B word), too needy, too desperate, you will
lose that rose. Roses, like females come with thorns, and even if you pick one
and you can't find a thorn, it is there somewhere hidden and that means you
have to tread carefully or you can poke your finger and you didn't see it
coming. If you avoid the thorn or ignore it that means you are not ready to
move closer and care for the rose. You might reject it because of your own
thorns and then you miss the opportunity to discover why that thorn is
there...that's the depth of a connection. When you feed and care for a female
properly you will find her thorns and you may help her remove them or help her
overcome them, or be willing to get poked but still appreciate the rose.
Females are not to be used like dirty rags or passed around like objects, we
are to be loved, adored, and not denied the opportunity to bathe in the sun. If
you approach carefully without regard for your own thorns (your issues) then
you just might get to bathe in the sun with her and help her deal with her
thorns (her issues).
So remember that
the next time you see a female anywhere. She was not designed nor meant to
harm, use, abuse or disrespect, especially if you don't get your way.
Selfishness cannot hold on to a rose. You can't have your way with a rose
because it already has its own way and if you respect that and get over
yourself, then you have a sweet reminder that your life is better because you
chose that rose. The rose doesn't choose you until you pick it and care for it
and feed it well. So when you are out and about looking for the perfect rose,
don't worry about the thorns, don't worry about not having the right food or
enough food to feed the rose and don't worry if a petal falls from time to
time. Pick up the petal and put it to use and give to the rose before you try
to take from it, because if you really pay attention, when you choose the rose
you want to pick and share your space with, you have to be ready to provide the
attention the rose needs so you don't lose it. If you see it in the bunch tread
carefully and pick the one you want before someone else steals it away. And,
this part is very important, you have to make a move and the rose has to see
you, if you don't all you can do is admire the beauty of the rose, if you don't
move forward out of your comfort zone then you can't pick the rose, you can't
choose the one you want and that means the flowers around you may be on the
prowl and you could lose sight of your perfect rose and end up settling for the
flower that fell in your lap. Don't hide because then the rose doesn't know you
are there and she has no reason to make sure her aroma is sweet and her beauty
is adorned. You don't need to look for your mother or the rose will get in your way of what is truly in your heart. You
always have your mother and no female needs to walk in her shoes nor replace
her, she has her own shoes. Females have to be handled with care or their
petals will fall before you pick them, and that means she will not allow you to
pick her and put her in a vase to love, and it will be too late. Choose
carefully, if you are not ready to take care of the rose, don't pick it because
that is what the rose needs.........
