Preparation for Revelations

Preparation for Revelations

It is important that we all are prepared for what lies ahead for our planet especially if you are a Christian. So I want to encourage you all to read this verse in the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15 and meditate on it so you will be prepared for whatever comes your way. When I say meditate that means ask God for the interpretation and the understanding so you can be wise with your words when you speak to others about the Bible. Stay quiet until you get an answer and you feel confident that you know what this verse means or any verse. Basically, we all need to study the word of God, the Bible. That's why we have them. They are not to be placed in a drawer somewhere and tucked away and pulled out when you feel stressed about something. They are not to be used only when you walk into a church and sit down in the pews and listen to the sermon. They are not to be used as decorative table items collecting dust just so people who enter your home can be impressed by your fancy Bible displayed on the table that you never touch. Our Bible needs to be read on a daily basis, even if you have read it in its entirety, you still need to refresh yourself with the words. This is what pastors do and that's why they can stand on the pulpit and preach and quote Bible verses from memory easily because they study the word and read it over and over and over again. So when Christians are attacked with questions about the knowledge of God and the Bible if you don't know how to answer those questions you may be in trouble. We don't know everything that lies ahead, especially for Christians. People out there know Jesus is returning and that means some of them may want to get in His way when He returns and that means the target will be the Christians, not necessarily Jesus Himself. As in the old days the birth of Christ as the Messiah was huge and there were people plotting to stop it or get to Mary and Joseph before Jesus arrived.

We need to remember that. Everyone is not looking forward to the return of Christ. If you don't know your Bible you could be accused of being a demon or satan worshipper disguised as a Christian or laughed at and ridiculed for being a lousy Christian. You will be tested and you need to be ready for those tests and that means know the word of God like the back of your hand, and if you don't and someone asks you a question about Jesus or God or the Bible be confident enough to say "well, I am not sure, let's look it up together". Youth may even test adults with their knowledge of the word of God. Parents like to tell their kids what to do but if we are preparing for the return of Jesus and then Jesus shows up and the youth want to get close to Him, they may ask their parents about this and that. If parents are not able to respond to those questions then guess what, your teenager may go looking elsewhere for the answer, they may not want to listen to you at all. That's dangerous. So we all have to be ready. The book of the Revelation talks about the mark of the Beast and what if your wisdom and knowledge of the Bible or lack thereof can be a source of disconnection or connection to the beast. So "study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the truth."  Study (your proof of knowledge), workman (your good deeds in the world), unashamed (shout your love for Christ from the rooftops), and rightly dividing the truth (be ready to distinguish one biblical truth from the next and be able to connect the dots) because the Bible is full of secrets and some things get misinterpreted and you need to be ready to explain what you know and how you know it so others can understand and will be drawn to the Bible, the truth, like you are. I have revamped my Messages 2 Mankind board on Pinterest so you are invited to stay tuned to that board on a regular basis here https://www.pinterest.com/angelicrainbow/messages-2-mankind/. I will be posting messages like these, talking about karma, listening, anti-racism, empathy and equality and more, and posting videos to inspire, motivate and encourate you. There may even be some Bible verses with a short interpretation for your understanding and preparation. So don't miss out, I know you all can feel the change in the air and the golden carpet from heaven has already been rolled out, which means Jesus will be arriving soon. Let's be ready!

An awesome song to keep us from looking back and dwelling on the past and being anxious about the future (staying in the moment and being grateful for what you have right now, right here, where you are planted can help you squash jealousy)....

Jeremey Camp - Keep Me In the Moment - pay close attention to the chorus: "Keep me in the moment, cuz I don't want to miss what you have for me...."
